ABOUT NCR
Why I Started Nokic College Recruiting
Nokic College Recruiting was founded after I navigated the NCAA recruiting process firsthand, including scholarship structures, eligibility requirements, international admissions, and visa procedures.
Through that experience, it became clear that the pathway to U.S. college tennis is often misunderstood and poorly structured for international players and their families.
NCR was created to provide a strategic, evaluation-based approach to college placement. We combine athletic assessment, academic positioning, scholarship analysis, and direct communication with college coaches to help families make clear and informed decisions.
Nokic College Recruiting is a legally registered company in Sweden, operating with transparency, structured processes, and a long-term commitment to the athletes we represent.

My Journey
My name is Edis Nokic, and I am originally from Norrköping, Sweden. I competed at a high junior level in Europe before entering the NCAA recruiting process and signing with a Division I program in the United States.
Following program changes during the COVID, I transferred to Wingate University, which was ranked No. 4 nationally in Division II at the time. I competed at Wingate for four seasons as part of one of the leading collegiate tennis programs in the country.
Having experienced both Division I and Division II environments firsthand, I understand the differences between programs, scholarship structures, roster dynamics, coaching styles, and the competitive standards required at each level.
That experience now allows me to help players identify opportunities that fit their athletic level, academic goals, financial situation, and long-term development.
Beyond the Court
My college journey combined athletic and academic success.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Wingate University, graduating summa cum laude. At graduation, I received the A.F. Hendricks Award from the president, recognizing Wingate University's most outstanding male graduating student for academic achievement, leadership, character, and contributions to the university community.
I am currently completing my Master of Business Administration while continuing to develop Nokic College Recruiting.
Following graduation, I also gained more than two years of professional experience in accounting and taxation.
My experience as an international student-athlete, graduate, business professional, coach, and recruiter allows me to guide families from several perspectives, not only as someone who played college tennis, but as someone who understands the academic, financial, and practical sides of the process.
